local orgs and agencies

I'll admit I often take for granted the numerous parks, open spaces, governmental organizations, universities, museums, and dedicated groups, as if they've always been there and will continue in perpetuity to enrich the public... but it takes money, space, time, and people who are knowledgeable and committed. With drastic cuts in funding to our CA State Parks and local museums, I'm reminded of the irreplaceable value of the folks (employees, volunteers, and enthusiasts alike) who keep these places up and running.  It's a gift for all of us and future generations.  Thanks to the incredible work of the following organizations and public agencies, I have the opportunity to hike, enjoy, and learn about my local natural world.  Please find and support your own local orgs and agencies!
