Turkey Trot

It was beautiful here for Thanksgiving this year. Andy took these pictures as he ran to the start at Lover's Point for the decidedly unofficial, annual Turkey Trot. As I understand it, the goal is to run towards Asilomar and back within 1 hour exactly. Whoever returns closest to the 1 hour mark gets an ugly trophy to hold and keep safe until next year. We have several pictures of friends and I'm still figuring out if sending pics as an e-mail attachment is couth.

Such beautiful blues!!!
There's a turkey trot held in Dallas each year too. I don't think they have a one-hour target on anything tho. :)
Where is Miss Manners for picture sharing? Can we google her? Sometimes I send a picture inserted in an email...but I confess that when a friend sends me 20 pictures attached to an email each of which each needs to be individually opened to be seen and transfered one by one if I want to keep it...well I would rather run in a turkey trot with no prize at all!
Hi, nice pictures of that place.. seems to be very pleasant..
twg, it is unusually serene here right now. I've asked this before of you - how are you alerted when I post? You're the fastest blog commenter I've met.
Jeannette, I'm glad you caught the pic sharing thing. For close friends I burn a CD of pics once a year and give it to them as a gift. For others, I worry my e-mail pic attachments go straight to the spam filter. I would like to find a Ms. Manners for the digital age.
D.s., it's good to hear from you, again.
