This is probably my favorite chrysalis form; swallowtails are also like this. They'll wiggle if you touch them. The silk foothold at the bottom is pretty amazing, too. Thing is, I rarely ever find them. I've been keeping an eye on this one since September and it's still doing fine. Paul says he's never seen a Sara orangetip chrysalis in all his years working at the Park, and they're extremely numerous butterflies with 2 generations a year there. I guess I just got lucky.
